When the owners of Barwhillanty Estate set out to expand their portfolio of premium hospitality and events, they partnered with Gray & Dick to create a striking new Pavilion within the Estate's historic Walled Garden.
Located in the heart of South West Scotland, Barwhillanty Estate has become one of the region's most sought-after destinations for weddings, private celebrations, corporate events and outdoor experiences.
As visitor numbers continued to grow, the Yerburgh family recognised the need for a versatile venue that would complement the Estate's unique setting while enhancing the guest experience.
A Bespoke Steel-Framed Pavilion
Gray & Dick was appointed to provide the complete design, specification, supply and installation of the Pavilion's steel-framed structure.
Working closely with the Estate team, we delivered a contemporary architectural solution that sits comfortably within the heritage setting of the Walled Garden. Every detail was carefully considered to preserve the character of the original site while creating a modern, light-filled events space.
Expansive glazed rooflights maximise natural daylight and create uninterrupted views across the landscaped gardens, blurring the boundary between indoors and outdoors.
The steel frame allows the historic brickwork to remain a defining feature, resulting in a venue that feels both elegant and seamlessly connected to its surroundings.
